We offer replacement cardale garage door cables for the older and newer cardale garage doors.

The older type Cardale garage doors have a central circular spring unit which houses a “clock type” flat metal band spring. The cables emerge either side of the spring unit and travel over a nylon wheel down to the roller spindles. It is often where the cables go round the metal spindle that the cables snap. This is because the  garage door cable at this point is exposed to the elements. Replacement of these cables is fairly straight forward if the tension can be locked on the spring. If tension is lost on the spring unit it is very difficult to re-tension.
